cairan etsa alkali adalah dengan menggunakan bahan khusus komposit anoda dan katoda untuk elektrolisis langsung larutan etsa alkali dengan kandungan tembaga tinggi. Tembaga unsur dengan kemurnian tinggi diendapkan pada pelat katoda. Larutan setelah penghilangan tembaga mempertahankan komposisi kimia asli dari larutan etsa.
