A sua composi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 relativamente simples e o \u00fanico componente valioso \u00e9 o cobre. A ganga \u00e9 principalmente quartzo, silicatos e carbonatos.<br \/>\n(2) Min\u00e9rio de cobre-enxofre. Os componentes valiosos s\u00e3o o cobre e a pirite.<br \/>\n(3) Pirite de cobre. Os componentes valiosos s\u00e3o o cobre, a pirite e a magnetite.<br \/>\n(4) Min\u00e9rio de cobre-molibd\u00e9nio. Os componentes valiosos s\u00e3o o cobre, a pirite, a magnetite e a molibdenite.<br \/>\n(5) Min\u00e9rio de cobre-n\u00edquel. O min\u00e9rio de sulfureto de cobre secund\u00e1rio \u00e9 facilmente oxidado e tem menos probabilidades de flutuar do que o min\u00e9rio de cobre prim\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<p>Quase todo o min\u00e9rio de sulfureto de cobre tem sulfuretos que cont\u00eam ferro, por isso, de certa forma, a flota\u00e7\u00e3o do min\u00e9rio de sulfureto de cobre \u00e9 essencialmente a separa\u00e7\u00e3o do sulfureto de cobre do sulfureto de ferro.
