【Infrared Thermometer Platinum Melting Furnace Work Principle】
The platinum melting machine uses electromagnetic induction heating, combined with infrared temperature feedback, for precise and efficient metal processing. When powered on, the machine’s IGBT module converts standard AC into high-frequency alternating current, which flows through a tightly wound copper induction coil, generating a strong electromagnetic field. This field induces eddy currents within the platinum metal placed inside the quartz crucible, causing rapid resistive heating without direct contact. Simultaneously, an infrared pyrometer continuously monitors the metal’s surface temperature by measuring emitted thermal radiation, transmitting real-time data to a PID controller. The controller dynamically adjusts power output to maintain the exact set temperature, preventing overheating or instability. Cooling is managed via a water-circulation system that prevents critical components (e.g., coil, IGBT) from excessive heat buildup, while integrated safeguards (over-current, overheating, and water shortage protection) ensure fail-safe operation. This closed-loop system guarantees fast, uniform melting.
