ZD(ZDH) reducer is an involute cylindrical gear reducer, which is widely used in industrial applications for torque multiplication and speed reduction. It is known for its high efficiency, durability, and compact structure.
ZD(ZDH) Gear Reducer Features
- High-strength materials and processing technology: The gears of ZD and ZDH reducers are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel, which is carburized and quenched, and the hardness of the tooth surface reaches HRC58-62 and the CNC gear grinding process is adopted to ensure high precision and good contact.
- High-efficiency transmission: The transmission efficiency of these gearboxes is high, with single-stage transmission efficiency greater than 96.5%, double-stage greater than 93%, and three-stage greater than 90%, with smooth operation and low noise.
- Compact structure: ZD and ZDH reducers are characterized by small size and lightweight, as well as long service life, strong bearing capacity, and easy dismantling and installation.
- Widely used: These reducers are widely used in metallurgy, mining, cement, construction, chemical industry, textile, and other fields, suitable for both forward and reverse directions.
- Environmental adaptability: They can work under an environment of -40 to +45 degrees Celsius, the high-speed shaft speed is not more than 1500 rpm, and the gear drive circumferential speed is not more than 20 meters per second.
ZD reducer is divided into 12 types according to the center distance: 250, 350, 400, 500, 650, 750, 850, 1000.

【ZD(ZDH) Gear Reducer Structure】
ZD (ZDH) series reducer is mainly composed of input shaft, output shaft and gear train.
- Input Shaft: The high-speed input shaft from a motor or other power source connects to the first gear in the train.
- Output Shaft: The low-speed output shaft delivers the reduced power to the driven load.
- Gear Train: The gears are arranged in a train, with a smaller input gear driving a larger output gear, or multiple gear pairs to achieve the desired speed reduction.
【ZD(ZDH) Gear Reducer Working Principle】 Power is input from the input shaft, and the driving gear installed on the input shaft meshes with the driven gear installed on the output shaft to transmit power to the output shaft. Since the number of teeth of the driving gear and the driven gear are different, according to the principle of gear transmission, the ratio of the speed of the driving gear to the speed of the driven gear is equal to the inverse ratio of their number of teeth, thereby achieving a reduction in speed and an increase in torque.
