The SFM-8 agate mortar grinder consists primarily of three components: a Pestle, an agate mortar, and a scraper.
The SFM-8 automatic desktop grinder utilizes a precision grinding system where an agate mortar rotates clockwise while a height-adjustable pestle applies controlled pressure, crushing solids through friction-based reduction. A stationary scraper continuously redirects material from the mortar's rim into the grinding zone, preventing buildup and ensuring every particle receives equal processing for uniform size distribution. This gentle yet efficient mechanism achieves micron- to nanometer-scale fineness without high-impact forces, making it ideal for processing brittle or heat-sensitive materials.
