JK(B)/2JK(B) single rope mine hoisting winch is mainly composed of main shaft device, reducer, rope adjusting mechanism, disc brake device, hydraulic station, depth indicator, speed measuring generator device, elastic coupling, gear coupling, motor, operating table and electrical control system.

JK Series Single-rope Mine Hoist Working Principle
The JK series single-rope mine hoist operates when the main motor starts, transmitting power through an elastic coupling to the reducer's high-speed shaft, where a two-stage helical gear system reduces speed and increases torque. The decelerated rotation is then transferred via a gear coupling to the drum, which winds or unwinds the wire rope to raise or lower the lifting container in the shaft. A variable-frequency drive and closed-loop control system enable precise speed adjustment, while hydraulically actuated disc brakes and multi-sensor monitoring (speed, load, travel) ensure safe stopping and real-time protection. The integrated electro-hydraulic control system allows intelligent forward/reverse motor operation, smooth acceleration/deceleration, and automated wire rope management, ensuring stable, efficient, and reliable hoisting under monitored conditions. Advanced computer networks further enhance remote data transmission and system diagnostics.
