The project is situated in Niger for a local mining company that operates a small-scale alluvial gold mine and a hard rock gold mine. It includes two plants – 5tph alluvial gold processing plant and a 1tph rock gold processing plant.

5TPH Alluvial Gold Plant: The raw ore consists of alluvial / placer loose, unconsolidated gravels, sands, and low clays. The clay content requires a trommel scrubber for effective washing and disintegration. The size distribution of coarse gold: 0.5mm-20mm, and fine gold: <0.5mm (including flour gold).

1TPH Rock Gold Plant: The raw ore consists of hard rock quartz gold with a maximum feed size of 130mm. The gold occurs primarily as fine particles, necessitating grinding to a size of 0-1 mm to achieve effective liberation from the host rock.

As a beginner, this client required 1-5tph alluvial gold processing plant and 1tph rock gold processing plant as a start.

In the future, should the project generate favorable returns, they intend to procure an additional processing plant with an expanded capacity of either 20 or 40 tons per hour for an alluvial gold processing plant, and with an expanded capacity of either 2 or 3 tons per hour for a rock gold processing plant as a start.

1-5tph Alluvial Gold Processing Plant Process Description

  1. Excavator feeds raw oresto the hopperof trommel scrubber. Above 70mm materials from the grizzly feeder will fall on the ground.
  2. Above 20 mm materials from the trommel scrubber are transported to a stockpby belt conveyor.4-20mm from the trommel scrubber flow to the boîte à vannes, for capturing coarse gold particles.
  3. 0-4mm materials from the trommel scrubber are sent tocentrifugal concentrator for capturing fine gold.
  4. The tailings from the concentrateur centrifuge go to the second sluice box for further recovery of gold tailings.
  5. The 0-2mm concentrates from the centrifugal concentrator go to the shaking table for further separation aimed at increasing gold content.
  6. Finally, all gold concentrates are sent to a gold smelting furnace for purification, so that customers can get pure gold bars.

 

1TPH Rock Gold Processing Plant Process Description

  1. A jaw crusher is for crushing rocks/stones into smaller sizes,
  2. The ball mill is for grinding the small rocks into powder form (100-200mesh), in order to liberate the gold inside.
  3. Les table à secousses is for gold concentration.

This option is suitable for a small budget processing plant with low investment costs.

    Designed for maximum mobility, our rotary trommel scrubber comes with built-in bottom wheels—plus, the centrifuge and shaking table are also wheel-mounted as specified. A small truck can easily tow these units for short-distance moves, letting customers adjust their layout flexibly to suit on-site operational needs.
  4. Do you use centrifugal concentrators (e.g., Knelson, Falcon) or traditional sluice boxes?
    Our centrifugal concentrators are available in two options—water-jacketed models and high-efficiency automatic discharge models (the latter at a higher price point)—both dedicated to the preliminary enrichment of gold concentrates. To maximize gold recovery, we provide two types of sluice boxes: coarse-mat sluice boxes for capturing coarse gold particles, and fine-mat sluice boxes that target gold from centrifuge tailings, significantly lifting the overall recovery efficiency.
  5. Are there any successful case studies in my region or in other countries in Africa?
    Yes, we have numerous successful cases to our credit. For instance, we supplied a gold processing line to a client in Mozambique, and after the production line was commissioned, visible gold could be clearly observed in the final concentrate.
  6. How does the plant minimize environmental impact, especially on rivers?
    An optional tailings dewatering section is available for this placer gold processing line, featuring equipment like spiral dewatering machines or tamis de déshydratation that recover a minimum of 60% of process water. This recycled water is fully reusable in the line, slashing water consumption and reducing the project’s impact on the local ecological environment—delivering both economic and environmental benefits.
  7. What is the power source requirement? Can it run on diesel generators?
    Yes, if high-voltage DC power is unavailable for the processing line, we recommend procuring one or two diesel generators to supply the required power. Our engineers can also provide detailed layout diagrams for wiring, cables, and control cabinets of these processing plants.
  8. Do you offer gold smelting furnaces to produce gold bars on-site?
    Yes, we can provide high-frequency induction gold melting furnaces for precision casting of gold concentrates into standardized ingots.
