This product utilizes a hardened cycloidal pinwheel reducer, directly connected to the pin gearbox output, which offers the advantages of a simple structure, small size, and a large transmission ratio. Since the cycloidal pin gear is made of bearing steel, its hardness reaches HRC58-62 after heat treatment. The rolling friction and multi-tooth meshing in the transmission make the reduction gear exhibit characteristics of a large load capacity and strong overload capacity compared to the involute gear.

YZ series is an oil-cooled (oil-immersed) cycloidal pinwheel electric roller with stable transmission, low noise, and long life, which can meet various requirements such as backstop rubber coating. 【YZ Type Cycloid Pinwheel Electric Drum Structure】
YZ Type Cycloid Pinwheel Electric Drum is mainly composed of input shaft, eccentric mechanism, cycloidal disc, needle pins, output shaft, housing, etc.,

  • Input Shaft (Motor Connection): Connects to the drive motor, transfers rotational motion to the eccentric mechanism.
  • Eccentric Mechanism (Cycloidal Disc Drive): Consists of an eccentric cam or bearing (offset from the central axis).
  • Cycloidal Disc (Pinwheel): Made of high-strength alloy steel with lobed (cycloidal) teeth.
  • Needle Pins (Ring Gear Pins): Fixed pins embedded in the housing (outer ring gear).
  • Output Mechanism (Wobble to Rotation): The output shaft receives the reduced speed and increased torque from the cycloid disc and pinwheel engagement.
  • Housing (Enclosure): Encloses all the components and provides structural support.

【YZ Type Cycloidal Pinwheel Electric Drum Working Principle】
The motor drives the eccentric sleeve to rotate, which in turn drives the cycloid gear to swing in a plane. This swing transmits the force to the pinion pin, so that for every rotation of the eccentric sleeve, the cycloid gear can turn the pinion pin one tooth (single tooth difference) or two teeth (double tooth difference), thereby achieving the deceleration of the drum. The sliding friction is effectively converted into rolling friction, reducing wear.
