Slurry Pumps Spare/Wear Parts
Slurry pumps are designed for the most challenging and abrasive applications and are often used in mineral processing and wash plant environments.
The wet parts of the slurry pump mainly include the impeller, liner, throat bush, auxiliary impeller, inlet pipe, outlet pipe, and shaft sleeves. Because it works under heavy impact with abrasive and corrosive slurries, the impeller, throat bush, liners, frame plate liner insert, and casing are seriously worn and often must be replaced.
The material plays an important role in the long service life of pump parts. We supply high chrome alloys, natural rubber or elastomers, polyurethane, and ceramic material for slurry pump spare parts. And the impeller material is not recommended to use rubber material.

Impellers
Material: Metal, rubber, or polyurethane
The impeller is a rotor, a rotating component of a centrifugal pump. Front and rear shrouds have pump-out vanes that reduce recirculation and seal contamination.
When the slurry pump processes the solid mixture, the most worn parts are the impellers. The impeller is the most important part of a pump. Metal, rubber, and polyurethane meet different working duties.
Frame Plate Liner Insert
When the slurry pump runs, the frame plate liner insert is in direct contact with the slurry. The primary function of the frame plate liner insert is to cooperate with the sheath to form a semi-closed flow channel so that the slurry can run in this space.
Volute Liners
Material: High chrome alloy, Rubber, Polyurethane, Ceramic, etc
Volute liner is an important wear part of the slurry pumps. Together with the throat bush and frame plate liner insert, it forms a slurry pump chamber where the slurry would flow through.
The slurry volute liner is a curved funnel increasing the area to the discharge port. As the area of the cross-section increases, the volute reduces the speed of the liquids and increases the pressure of the liquids. The primary purpose of a volute liner is to help balance the hydraulic pressure on the shaft of the slurry pump.
Our volute liners have reasonable structure, long service life, high efficiency, small design load, low energy consumption, stable operation, and convenient installation and maintenance.
Throat Bush
Material: Metal, rubber, or polyurethane
The throat bush is one of the most important parts in the wet side of the slurry pumps and can be easily worn by the slurry pump at high speed.
