What’s the Difference Between Ball Mills and Rod Mills?

The ball mill plays an important role in the mineral beneficiation production line, divide into overflow ball mill and grate ball mill, capable to grind various materials. The output material particle size of the ball mill is 18-200 mesh, which can be adjusted by customers according to their own production needs. Besides, the ball mill can handle dry material, that is dry type grinding, and handle wet material, that is wet type grinding.

Rod Mill

Rod mill is a key grinding equipment, can process non-flammable and explosive materials with a Mohs hardness of no more than 9.3 and a humidity of less than 6% (can not grind metal minerals). The finished product is even, the screening rate is up to 99%, and the particle size can be adjusted arbitrarily between 80-325 mesh.
