Gold Distiller

The Gold distiller is known as the mercury steamer, amalgam retort, or amalgam distillation tank. It is commonly used on amalgam distillation equipment for small and medium-sized mines to select gold. Because the gasification temperature circle of mercury is lower than the melting point and boiling point of gold, the mercury and gold in mercury paste are separated by distillation method, and the solid mercury paste produced by the gold separation plant can be distilled regularly. In order to fully separate mercury from mercury in mercury paste, many gold separation plants control the temperature of mercury vapor at 400-450 degrees, and raise the temperature to 750-800 degrees at the later stage of mercury vaporization for 30 minutes. The recovery rate of mercury in mercury evaporation is usually greater than 99% for 5-6 hours. Small and medium-sized mines use distillation tanks to steam mercury, and large mines use distillation furnaces.
